The SickKids-UHN Flow Cytometry Facility at PGCRL

The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Ontario
Area(s) of Expertise

The SickKids-UHN Flow Cytometry Facility provides access to state-of-the-art analytical flow cytometers, mass cytometers and high-speed cell sorters and cell separators. Facility staff members operate and maintain the instruments, assist researchers in protocol selection and development, and train students, post-doctoral fellows and technologists to operate the analytical cytometers and to use data analysis software. In addition, we provide phospho-flow analysis, flow cytometry acquisition services and data analysis services.

What the facility does

Flow cytometry, mass cytometry, cell sorting and analytical flow cytometry services and instrumentation. The Flow Cytometry Facility also has a location at the University Health Network’s Toronto Medical Discovery Tower (TMDT), for which a Navigator profile can be viewed here.

Research Services

Analytical flow cytometry (assisted and unassisted), phospho-flow analysis, cell sorting, automated magnetic cell separation
CyTOF mass cytometry (analytical mass cytometry/validated mass cytometry antibodies/antibody metal labeling service)
flow cytometry training, flow and mass cytometry data analysis, consultations, protocol development
