Polystim Neurotechnologies Laboratory

Polytechnique Montréal, Montréal, Québec
What the facility does

Installation of various circuits and hybrid systems for numerous applications, in particular smart medical devices.

Areas of expertise

We offer a number of work stations and many pieces of equipment required for upgrading various electronic systems (analog, digital and mixed).

Research services

Modelling, simulation and design of digital, analog and mixed (digital and analog) circuits for large-scale integration. Design of systems for receiving, controlling and analysing signals. Deployment of medical devices and, more precisely, implantable or external microstimulators and sensors. Creation of labs-on-a-chip: microsystems combining microelectronic chips, microfluidic structures and optics. Design and creation of mixed circuits involving microelectronics, microwaves and various discreet component integration technologies. Use of reprogrammable integrated circuits and reconfigurable systems.
