High field and ultra-high field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of humans and preclinical models of disease.
Areas of expertise
The Centre for Functional and Metabolic Mapping has the only collection of high and ultra-high field MRI scanners in Canada. We are staffed by a dedicated group of physicists, engineers, animal technicians, MRI technologists and research coordinators addressing basic and clinical neuroscience, and musculoskeletal health research.
Research services
MRI scanning of patients, healthy controls, non-human primates, small to medium sized animals such as dogs, cats, rodents as well as birds; MRI services for pharma sponsored clinical trials.
