Multicentered Research Platform on musculoskeletal diseases

Polytechnique Montréal, Montréal, Québec
What the facility does

Research focusing on biomechanical modeling of scoliosis, as well as the evaluation, design and optimization of orthopedic treatment

Areas of expertise

This research group has developed internationally acknowledged expertise in musculoskeletal diseases, including the study of spine deformities (particularly the etiopathogenesis of scoliosis and spondylolisthesis). Research also focuses on developing innovative modeling and diagnosis tools and on improving medical treatments, from pharmacology to surgery, including rehabilitation.
