What the facility does
Movement biomechanics and neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation
Areas of expertise
Researchers at the Constance-Lethbridge Rehabilitation Centre (CLRC) Research Site of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation of Greater Montreal (CRIR) make use of 3D human-motion analysis, surface electromyography and force capture for the quantitative assessment of functional tasks, clinical assessment procedures and clinical rehabilitation procedures. In combination with other clinical, psychological and social factors, these biomechanical factors are assessed to help improve the rehabilitation of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
