Areas of expertise

The Quebec Centre of Geomatics (CGQ) is a college center for the transfer of technology (CCTT) affiliated with the Cégep de Chicoutimi. With its multi-disciplinary team and state-of-the-art equipment the only one of its kind in Canada, the CGQ specializes in active and passive remote sensing and artificial intelligence-based geospatial data processing. The research team also integrates equipment on various data acquisition platforms, including aircraft, a DJI Matrice 600 Pro drone and a Unitree Go2 robot.

The CGQ also provides financial support for research.
