Laboratory of Complex Fluids Research (LCFR)

Université Laval, Quebec, Québec
What the facility does

Research, development and technological transfer in the engineering science, including oil and gas, industrial process, chemical industries and environment

Areas of expertise

The Laboratory of Complex Fluids Research (LCFR) is a research and development center in the field of engineering. The center offers mainly research service, but also technical support for different industrial process. LCFR’s activities are mainly focused on solve problems of industrial relevance, by adopting analytical, experimental and computational techniques, together providing a deeper understanding. Areas in which we will look for research challenges include but are not limited to multiphase flows, non-Newtonian flows, suspension flows, polymer flows, micro, nano and bio-fluidics, and interdisciplinary fluid dynamics applications.
