What the facility does

Research in music education, educational programs, educational and pedagogical activities.

Areas of expertise

The research carried out within our infrastructure focuses on documenting the impact of learning music during early childhood (0-5 years) and childhood (6-12 years). We study in particular the effects of music on cognitive function development, emergence of language, and reading, writing and math skills. Our goal is to promote complementary ways to encourage academic success in the short, medium and long term.
