What the facility does
Provides services in genomics and molecular biology
Areas of expertise
The Core Molecular Biology and Genomics Laboratory (CMBGL) provides services in genomics and molecular biology, serves as a research training site and provides access to advanced molecular/genomics equipment to the faculties of Science, Social Sciences and Engineering. Our facility remains competitive in Ottawa in the offer of external services for digital droplet and quantitative PCR, a technique to measure gene expression with broad applications. We provide training on various equipment and bench space within the facility.
