Synthetic Organic Chemistry Research Lab

Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario
What the facility does

Synthetic organic chemistry

Areas of expertise

Our lab develops new chemical techniques for preparing, derivatizing and analyzing molecules of concern for human health and the environment to improve their analysis and quantitation. We also develop new and improved catalyst systems for palladium catalysis, synthesize natural and unnatural products, develop reaction methodology, and perform isotopic labelling.

Research services

Synthesis of organic compounds, isotopic labelling, chemical modification of natural and unnatural molecules, including biological molecules.
