NeuroLab

Université du Québec à Montréal, Montréal, Québec
What the facility does

Research on cognition, affect, the brain and learning (educational neuroscience)

Areas of expertise

The laboratory is a research infrastructure that brings a psychophysiological perspective to behavioural studies on affect and cognition, especially in virtual environments such as video games or natural environments such as classrooms.

In addition to the behavioural component, the laboratory also gathers psychophysiological research data, which is a new approach that offers many benefits for the design of virtual and natural environments, for both learning and games.

With cutting-edge measurement and analysis equipment, the infrastructure can accommodate the study of two to eight participants interacting relatively normally in authentic contexts.
