John L. Holmes Mass Spectrometry Facility

University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario
What the facility does

Supporting research in science, engineering and medicine and offering services to numerous external users

Areas of expertise

The John L. Holmes Mass Spectrometry Facility routinely provides accurate mass measurements on organic samples ionized by electron ionization (EI) and electrospray ionization (ESI) on its Concept and Q-TOF instruments. With the 2015 addition of the Biological and Proteomic Analysis Facility, we are now able to routinely analyse biological samples on an ETD orbitrap mass spectrometer.
