Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy - Centre for Biologics Evaluation

Health Canada, Ottawa, Ontario
What the facility does

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy in the analysis of complex biotherapeutic molecules

Areas of expertise

The work of the laboratory focuses on the development of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) based methods for the assessment of novel recombinant protein therapeutics, subsequent entry biologics (biosimilars) and polysaccharide vaccines. Other areas of expertise include the determination of the three-dimensional structure of recombinant protein therapeutics; and the application of NMR techniques to characterize glycoprotein-based therapeutics such as glyco-conjugate vaccines and monoclonal antibodies
