University of Victoria-Genome BC Proteomics Centre (PC)

The UVic-Genome BC Proteomics Centre (PC) is the longest operating protein and metabolomics core facility in Canada, providing analytical mass spectrometry services to academic, industrial and government laboratories for over 30 years. The PC has performed proteomics and metabolomics services for more than 2,000 research projects in health, agriculture, energy, environment and forestry. The Centre’s technology development program supports service and collaborative research projects in the application and development of novel methods in the areas of biomarker identification and characterization, protein characterization, as well as bioinformatics. The Centre offers significant expertise in supporting custom projects that require novel solutions to answer our user’s research question.
